  13. Tin is a silvery-white metal with a blueish tinge. Tins most wide uses are as 
  14. solder, metals used for bearings and plating steel cans for food containers. 
  15. It is nontoxic, malleable, and ductile. Tin exists in two allotropes, white 
  16. and gray tin. Gray tin changes to white tin when heated to 55.8 °F and more 
  17. rapidly at 212 °F. The reverse happens at low temperatures.
